The stage is empty except for a couple of people tuning guitars and checking microphones, the venue is abuzz with a mix of the background music playing through the speakers and the sound of people lining up on the gate that separates the stage from the pit. All of a sudden the stagehands clear the stage, the music stops in the background and the lights dim. This is what I live for… those few moments of dead silence. Pure energy pulsing through me as I get my cameras ready to fire. All of a sudden the lights flash, the amplifiers squeal with the sound of guitars and the crowd roars behind me as the band comes on stage.

Rolling Stone Premieres “Wake Up Dead” Remake by LAMB OF GOD Featuring MEGADETH

… Lamb of God releases “Wake Up Dead” featuring Dave Mustaine and the members of Megadeth. Lamb of God vocalist D. Randall Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell and drummer Art Cruz recorded the Megadeth classic remotely and recruited the Megadeth frontman himself to feature guitar and vocals on the song.

Western Canada’s Decibel Breaking Metal Fest LOUD AS HELL Announces 2022 Lineup

This year’s 2022 lineup is another special one with headliners Vancouver’s AngelMaker bringing their guttural and brutal beauty to the LAH stage for the first time in support of their latest album “Sanctum” along with LAH alumni Neck of The Woods for the Sunday festivities. The lineup also witnesses the reunion of Montreal metalcore titans Endast along with a rare appearance from Calgary’s prog squad Divinity for the Saturday moshpit. And for the Friday opening night, the venomous deathcore of Vancouver’s Carcosa and Calgary blackened death eaters Plaguebringer will set off the debauchery of extreme proportions.

ANTI-FLAG ANNOUNCE CANADIAN TOUR DATES FOR 2022 WITH BILLY TALENT & VULGAIRES MACHINS

This year Pittsburgh-based punk rockers ANTI-FLAG will be taking Canada by storm. The band are playing shows in Western Canada with Billy Talent in May and will be touring across Quebec with local talents Vulgaires Machins in November. All tour dates (see below) and info can be found HERE!
The band comments: “Endless violence, bigotry and pain are all far too frequent in this world; to have these moments and shows, where solidarity and unity are the backbone of our collectiveness, it’ll be a welcomed change to the status quo of daily lives.
